Bachelor of Football (Development, Management and Performance)

Described as Australia's first football degree, the Bachelor of Football (Development, Management and Performance) from the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE) prepares students for careers across the football industry. The programme covers coaching, community participation, management, leadership, sport science, and high performance across multiple codes including soccer, rugby league, AFL, and futsal. A minimum of 260 hours of work-integrated learning placements in football environments forms a core component of the degree.

The course is available on campus, fully online, and in blended mode, with a mandatory two-day campus visit required for two units. It runs over three years of full-time study, or a part-time equivalent, across six 12-week semesters. Graduates earn an AQF Level 7 bachelor's degree, which is FEE-HELP approved for domestic students. Classes are taught by industry experts at ACPE, based at Sydney Olympic Park, with the curriculum designed in collaboration with the football industry.
