Building An Elite Culture

Designed for coaches and football practitioners at an introductory level, Building An Elite Culture draws on the expertise of Grant Downie OBE to explore how high-performance environments are created and sustained. The course examines what an elite culture means in practice, how to develop a clear vision underpinned by shared beliefs and behaviours, the role of a common performance language, and practical strategies for embedding and supporting culture within a club to drive athletic development.

Delivered entirely online through the MiMentor platform, the course can be completed in a day or less and is structured across four self-paced lessons. It is led by Grant Downie OBE, a consultant in medical and performance solutions with over 30 years of experience in professional football and elite sport, including roles at Manchester City, the England National Football Team, and Rangers Football Club.
