Level 3 Extended Diploma Sport (Football)

Aimed at young people seeking a thorough grounding in sport with a specific focus on football, this full-time Level 3 Extended Diploma covers modules including anatomy, physiology, coaching, business, fitness training, and professional development in the football industry. Students develop knowledge of football training techniques for players ranging from children to professionals, and in their first year complete a Level 2 qualification in Sports Leadership through organising football and futsal events.

Delivered entirely on campus at Hartpury's Gloucester site, the course runs over two years and combines classroom-based theory with practical sessions in professional sports facilities. Assessment includes two formal exams alongside internal coursework in the form of written reports, presentations, and practical tasks.
