MSc Data Analytics in Football

Designed for both experienced football professionals and those looking to break into the industry, this master's programme covers the full spectrum of data analytics applied to football. Across its modules, students develop proficiency in Python and R, learn to work with major data providers such as Opta, Wyscout, and StatsBomb, and gain hands-on experience with visualisation tools including Tableau and Power BI. The curriculum also addresses physical performance analytics, video analysis, and data-driven sporting direction, culminating in a practical final project.

Delivered entirely online by Sports Data Campus, the programme is completed within one year and is certified by UCAM. It is notably the only master's described as certified by both UCAM and Catapult. Enrolment includes a free Pre-Master's programme comprising four stand-alone certificate courses covering football data analysis fundamentals, data visualisation, R, and Python.
