Set Piece Masterclass

Delivered by former Newcastle United analyst Billy Coulston, the Set Piece Masterclass is designed for managers, coaches, analysts and players at any level who want to deepen their understanding of set-piece play. The course covers the 14 types of set play, their importance within a game model, and how to analyse, plan and execute routines at elite level, including creating still diagrams and moving animations. Participants also receive a free Creative Set Plays template for designing their own routines.

The masterclass is delivered entirely online through Training Ground Guru and runs to just over two hours of follow-along video content. No formal qualification is awarded, though the course is supplemented by a 30% discount on additional Creative Set Plays resources. Coulston brings extensive professional experience, having spent a decade at Newcastle United across scouting and analysis roles before moving to Hudl as Customer Success Manager for Elite Football.
