Soccer Tips and Techniques

Aimed at soccer players and coaches at any level — with a particular focus on youth league participants — this introductory course teaches a broad range of technical skills drawn from Brazilian training methods. Topics covered across nine lectures include warm-up drills, footwork and plyometrics, passing, first touch, Brazilian ABC Drills, dribbling and cutting, and kicking with inside curve. No prior knowledge is required; learners need only a soccer ball.

Delivered entirely online through Udemy, the course runs to 43 minutes of video content and can be completed in under a day. It is led by Gerhard Benthin, a professional soccer coach with more than 25 years of experience across camps, clinics, clubs, and high schools in the United States, and a coaching background with teams including L.A. Galaxy MLS and the U17 National Team.
