Understand Football (Soccer) better with Phases of Play

Aimed at football enthusiasts, aspiring coaches, practising coaches, and analysts, this introductory course focuses on one of the game's core tactical concepts: Phases of Play. Learners develop the ability to identify and explain each phase, understand the tactical decisions players and teams must make as phases change, and apply this knowledge within a youth development context. The course also challenges the conventional attacking-versus-defending binary and includes a bonus section on Advanced Phases of Play and the 12 Moments of the Game, drawing on examples from professional clubs including Manchester United, Liverpool, and Borussia Dortmund.
