BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation

Designed for those passionate about sport and health, this three-year full-time degree trains students to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate musculoskeletal injuries across all levels of sport, from amateur to elite. The curriculum covers anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, therapeutic exercise and evidence-based rehabilitation, with students completing more than 400 hours of clinical placement in applied practice environments alongside laboratory and clinic-based learning.

Delivered on campus in Bournemouth by AECC University College (Health Sciences University), the programme blends seminars, workshops, manual therapy labs, peer observation and online learning with hands-on clinical experience. The course runs for three years full-time and is accredited by the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT), meaning graduates are eligible to pursue BASRaT registration as a qualified sport rehabilitator upon meeting the association's additional requirements.
