BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Science

Delivered at the University of Winchester's King Alfred Campus, the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science programme immerses students in four core disciplines: sport and exercise psychology, physiology, biomechanics, and research methods. Structured to integrate theory with applied practice across all years, it is designed for students seeking careers spanning elite performance support, clinical rehabilitation, and research-based roles. Practical laboratory work, scientific projects with athletes and organisations, and an independent dissertation are all central to the curriculum.

The programme is campus-based in Winchester and runs for three years full-time or six years on a sandwich basis.
