Football Scouting

Designed for aspiring football scouts at an intermediate level, this online course from Football Scouting Worldwide covers the core principles of first-team player and opposition scouting, replicating the working practices of a professional club. Learners gain access to webinars featuring current and former Premier League managers, chief scouts, and technical directors, as well as professional scouting report templates, a free scouting handbook written by Premier League and European chief scouts, and a personalised scouting CV. An optional live scouting experience at stadiums across the Premier League, EFL, and beyond is also available.

The course is delivered entirely online and can be completed at the learner's own pace alongside full-time work or study, with no deadlines or exams. It is CPD-accredited by CPDUK — the same accreditation body used by the FA — and a signed, date-stamped CPD certificate is awarded on completion. One-to-one mentorship is provided throughout and after the course by Steve Simmons, a scouting manager with over 20 years of Premier League and European experience.
