About This Course
The 360 Scouting Academy is an advanced, cohort-based programme for ambitious aspiring scouts working toward a role in professional football. Each quarterly 13-week cycle combines in-depth scouting theory (physical and mental traits, positional play, opposition analysis, youth scouting, player agents and squad planning) with regular practical scouting tasks, including full match evaluations, individual player screening and written reports, reviewed through peer and tutor feedback.
Members get access to interactive masterclasses with heads of scouting and other industry figures, a professional scouting platform to submit reports, quarterly one-on-one progression calls, and a public scouting competition that showcases top performers. The academy runs continuously with no fixed end date, with new cohorts joining quarterly, and is taught by founder Marco van der Heide, a former opposition analyst at AZ Alkmaar under current Liverpool head coach Arne Slot.
