High Performance Football Coaching

Designed for ambitious coaches and football professionals seeking to operate at elite level, the High Performance Football Coaching post-graduation at the University of Lisbon covers eight progressive modules spanning clinics in football performance, leadership and communication, game analysis, team organisation, scouting, asset management, football periodization, and career development. The programme attracts practitioners from across the industry and is taught in both English and Portuguese, making it accessible to an international cohort.

Delivered on a classroom basis at the Faculty of Human Kinetics in Lisbon, the programme is structured across four intensive residential blocks spread throughout the academic year and carries 60 ECTS credits upon completion. It is offered by the University of Lisbon and features a faculty of high-profile international lecturers including José Mourinho, Pedro Caixinha, Damien Comolli, Christopher Carling, and Pedro Marques of City Football Group. The two highest-performing graduates earn an internship placement directly within José Mourinho's technical staff.
