MSc Sport Analytics & Technologies

Loughborough University's MSc Sport Analytics and Artificial Intelligence is aimed at graduates with a passion for data, technology and sport, whether from a technical, analytical or sporting background. The programme develops skills in coding, machine learning, predictive analytics and data visualisation, with practical experience drawn from real-world datasets supplied by organisations including the English Premier League, the NFL and the Indian Premier League. Students also explore the ethical and policy dimensions of AI and digital transformation, and build the communication skills needed to convey data-driven insights across sport, business and media.

The programme is delivered on a full-time basis over one year, or part-time over up to four years, at Loughborough University's London campus in the former Olympic Park. Teaching uses a block format for full immersion in each topic area and is led by academics and industry experts from the Institute for Sport Business and the Institute for Digital Technologies. Successful graduates earn an MSc qualification.
