Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation BSc (Hons)

Leeds Trinity University's BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation is a practically focused undergraduate degree designed for students seeking careers in sports injury assessment, management and rehabilitation. The curriculum covers human anatomy and physiology, musculoskeletal injury mechanics, therapeutic modalities, injury rehabilitation, and acute trauma management, progressing through to advanced topics such as spinal assessment and high-performance strength and conditioning. Mandatory professional work placements allow students to build real-world experience in sports therapy settings.

The course is delivered full-time over three years, or part-time over six years, on Leeds Trinity University's Horsforth campus. It is accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists, making graduates eligible for full membership, and is endorsed by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) against the Health Navigator, Gym Instructor and Personal Training professional standards. Teaching is led by staff from the University's School of Health and Life Sciences.
