Ubication Game in Soccer

Designed for coaches at all levels, Ubication Game in Soccer introduces a contemporary coaching concept that blends two complementary ideas — the situational (dynamic space and time) and the positional (body orientation relative to teammates and opponents) — into a unified approach called Ubication. The course explains the concept's core principles, including game phases, ball circulation, the roles of back-passes and attraction, and how to adapt and implement the approach within different coaching contexts. Practical training methods, illustrated through small-sided game formats, are also covered across 16 lessons.

The course is delivered entirely online through Soccer Hub and can be completed within a day, with unlimited lifetime access provided. It was created by João Nuno Fonseca, a highly experienced coach whose career includes roles as assistant coach at FC Nantes, SL Benfica U23, and currently Stade de Reims, as well as consultancy work for City Football Group clubs across six countries. The course includes assessments and is available via the Soccer Hub app.
