Artificial Intelligence in Sport

Designed for sport professionals, technologists, entrepreneurs, and academics, AISTS's AI in Sport programme explores the possibilities and limitations of artificial intelligence within the sport industry. Participants gain a grounding in AI concepts and vocabulary, governance considerations, ethical and legal frameworks, data management, and practical applications for sport performance. No prior AI knowledge is required, making it accessible across skill levels.

The programme is delivered on-site in Lausanne and spans one week or less. It is offered in English and brings together expert speakers from institutions including EPFL, the University of Geneva, the Swiss Data Science Center, and Dartfish, alongside industry practitioners. The course is organised and delivered by AISTS, the Academy of International Sports Studies, which is internationally recognised for its work in sport management education.
