BSC (Hons) Football Coaching and Performance

Designed for those seeking a career in football coaching and performance analysis, this three-year Bachelor's degree at the University of Chichester covers the theories and practices underpinning contemporary coaching, individual and team performance, skill acquisition, sport and exercise science, tactical and strategic development, and performance analysis. Students also explore sports psychology, injury prevention, and the cultural and political landscape of football. A second-year work placement in a local coaching environment, combined with an optional trip to FC Barcelona's La Masia academy, provides meaningful applied experience.

The programme is delivered on campus at the Bishop Otter Campus in Chichester, with teaching led by UEFA 'A' and 'B' licence coaches, FA coach educators, and applied practitioners. Students graduate with a BSc (Hons) and benefit from two notable endorsements: the course is a CIMSPA education partner and is the first undergraduate degree in the UK to be endorsed by the Association of Sports Performance Analysts (ASPA), providing access to its professional network and development opportunities.
