BSc (Hons) Sport Management

Cardiff Metropolitan University's BSc (Hons) Sport Management equips students with the managerial knowledge, skills, and understanding needed for careers across the global sports industry, spanning public, private, and third-sector organisations. The degree takes a multidisciplinary approach with a strong emphasis on enterprise and entrepreneurship, and allows students to specialise in one of three pathways — Leadership, Marketing, or Sport Development — during years two and three.

Delivered on campus in Cardiff, the programme runs for three years full-time, or four years when a foundation year is included. It is the first UK sport management degree to be endorsed by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), aligning with CIMSPA's Entry Manager and General Manager professional standards; all students receive CIMSPA student membership. The degree is delivered by Cardiff Metropolitan University's Cardiff School of Health Sciences, supported by industry partners and guest speakers.
