Goalkeeper Fundamental Concepts in the Positional Style

Aimed at goalkeeper coaches, youth academy coaches, academy managers, and heads of methodology and player development, this introductory course examines the goalkeeper's role within positional play. It covers offensive involvement and build-up play, defensive positioning and game reading, decision-making under pressure, communication and leadership, and practical training drills applicable across different phases of play.

Delivered entirely online by Andreu Cases, who trained at FC Barcelona, and Jaume Bracons, Head of Goalkeeping at RCD Espanyol, the course is completable within one week. Content comprises approximately one hour and ten minutes of specialist instruction alongside a Q&A session of around twenty-four minutes. The course is provided through Albert Puig Football Concepts, whose programmes have received endorsements from coaches working within NWSL clubs, Manchester City, and various national team setups.
