First Foundations of Positional play

Designed for coaches and parents working with players aged six to eight, First Foundations of Positional Play introduces the five essential universal concepts of positional play at an early development stage. The course focuses on helping young players build cognitive capacity and their relationship with the ball, progressing from individual to team-based training through skills and drills aligned with Albert Puig Football Concepts' methodology.

Delivered entirely online, the course can be completed within a week and consists of video lessons covering each of the five core concepts, supported by supplementary documents and access to APFC methodology experts. Participants earn an APFC Certified Coach credential upon completion. The course is led by Albert Puig, former technical director of La Masía, FC Barcelona's renowned academy, who brings over 30 years of experience in player development to the programme.
