Master of Sport Directorship (MSD)

Designed for professionals aspiring to director-level roles in sport, the Master of Sport Directorship (MSD) at Manchester Metropolitan University develops leadership, strategic operations, governance, finance, and innovation competencies. The programme targets those seeking senior positions within high-profile organisations such as Premier League clubs, FIFA, and the Olympics, and includes an executive coaching component alongside a masterclass series featuring prominent industry figures. Students may choose between the full MSD award or a PGDip pathway, with the option to switch routes after the first four modules.
