MSc Sport Rehabilitation

Plymouth Marjon University's MSc Sport Rehabilitation is designed for graduates with a background in sport and health sciences who wish to develop advanced competency in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. The programme builds the five core competencies of a Graduate Sport Rehabilitator and includes clinical placement opportunities with partners such as Plymouth Argyle FC, Exeter Chiefs, and the FA Women's High-Performance Centre, accumulating more than 400 hours of hands-on experience.

The course is delivered through a blended learning model, combining fortnightly on-campus attendance two consecutive days per month with the equivalent of two days per week of online study. It runs over two years part-time and is accredited by BASRaT, enabling graduates to register as a Graduate Sport Rehabilitator upon completion. Students may also obtain an advanced trauma care qualification endorsed by the Royal College of Surgeons Pre-Hospital Immediate Care. The programme is led by course leader Sarah Martin and delivered by Plymouth Marjon University.
