Sport Big Data and Artificial Intelligence

Aimed at sports professionals and those looking to specialise in data-driven roles, this advanced programme covers the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning as applied to sports management. Participants learn to develop AI systems and apply analytical tools — including Teachable Machine, Weka, and TCT-Scout — to areas such as player scouting, performance analysis, and digital transformation within sports organisations. The curriculum is structured across four modules and is suited to those working or seeking roles in marketing, coaching, representation, and events.

The programme is delivered entirely online over ten weeks through the Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid Universidad Europea, an institution of Universidad Europea de Madrid. It carries a credit weighting of 6 ECTS and is available in both English and Spanish. Upon completion, participants receive a private degree titled Certified Program in Big Data and AI in Sports Management, issued by Universidad Europea de Madrid.
