BA (Hons) Multimedia Sports Journalism

Designed for aspiring sports journalists, UCFB's BA (Hons) Multimedia Sports Journalism equips students with skills across digital, social media, print, and broadcast platforms. The programme covers areas including online journalism, television production, media law and ethics, and contemporary issues in sport media, with practical elements such as mock newsroom exercises and exposure to live sporting events. Graduates leave with a detailed understanding of how to tell compelling stories across multiple platforms for a global audience.

Delivered on a full-time, classroom basis across campuses at Wembley and Manchester, the degree runs for three years, or four years with a foundation year. UCFB is an embedded college of the University of East London, meaning all graduates receive a degree awarded by that institution. The programme is supported by seminars, networking opportunities, and guest speaker sessions, and is designed to strengthen employability within the sports media industry.
