BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Therapy

Leeds Beckett University's BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Therapy is a full-time undergraduate degree designed for those seeking a clinical career supporting athletes and physically active individuals. The programme builds expertise in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation science, alongside hands-on skills in injury assessment, treatment planning, sports massage, and evidence-based therapeutic intervention. Students work with real clients in the university's on-campus Sports and Exercise Therapy Clinic and undertake supervised external placements, accumulating at least 200 hours of clinical experience across a range of sporting and healthcare settings.

Delivered on-campus at City Campus in Leeds, the course runs for three years. It is accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists, enabling students to register as student members from their first year and graduate as practice-ready, professionally recognised clinicians. Teaching is research-led and delivered by Leeds Beckett University's School of Health.
