Concussion Guidelines

Designed for anyone involved in football with no prior experience or qualifications required, this FA module covers how to recognise a concussion at the point of injury and how to manage it through to a player's safe return to the game. It is suitable for coaches, volunteers, and other football participants seeking a foundational understanding of concussion protocols.

Delivered entirely online by The FA through its England Football Learning platform, the module takes approximately one hour and thirty minutes to complete and is free of charge. It is accessible on mobile, tablet, laptop, or desktop devices. Upon completion, a record of achievement is recorded against the learner's Football Administration Number (FAN) account.
