Executive Master in Global Sport Governance (MESGO)

MESGO is an international executive master's programme designed for senior professionals working within sports organisations — including associations, clubs, leagues, players' unions, public authorities and international institutions. It takes a multidisciplinary approach to global sports governance, covering legal, political and economic dimensions of sport. Topics span competitive balance, commercial rights, financial regulation, match-fixing prevention, anti-doping, sustainability, ethics, leadership and innovation.

The programme is delivered face-to-face across nine week-long residential sessions held in international locations, including six in Europe, two in the United States and one in Asia. Running over 20 months and totalling approximately 1,500 learning hours, it leads to an Executive Master qualification worth 60 ECTS credits. The programme is delivered by UEFA Academy and runs every two years, with a maximum cohort of 30 participants.
