UEFA Player Agent Programme

Designed for current and aspiring football agents, the UEFA Player Agent Programme (UEFA PAP) covers the key competencies required for professional player representation. Topics include talent identification, player welfare, contract negotiation, financial and legal frameworks, image rights, marketing, and the use of data technology in scouting. The programme welcomes applications from agents, employees of football organisations and player agencies, and former professional players, with candidates required to demonstrate at least two years of relevant industry experience and fluency in English.

The blended programme runs over three months and combines three face-to-face seminars — held at European club venues and UEFA headquarters — with two online masterclasses, totalling approximately 100 hours of learning. It is capped at 35 participants to maintain an interactive environment. Delivered in English by UEFA experts, industry leaders, sporting directors, and former elite players, the programme concludes with a final assessment and awards a certificate of completion. The UEFA Academy runs the programme every two years, with the next intake scheduled for October 2026.
