About This Course

Designed for integrity officers and representatives of institutions working to combat match-fixing — including public authorities, law enforcement agencies and sports organisations — the UEFA Fight The Fix programme builds the knowledge and practical skills required to gather intelligence, lead investigations and support prosecution proceedings. Participants gain in-depth understanding of match-fixing dynamics, detection methodologies, information-sharing frameworks and the legal processes involved in bringing cases before sports courts, with a practical thread running throughout involving a fictitious match-fixing case culminating in a simulated moot court.

The programme combines e-learning and face-to-face delivery across three one-week residential sessions held at locations across Europe, spanning approximately six months and totalling an estimated 150 hours of learning. It is capped at 24 participants and runs every two years, with the third intake beginning in October 2026. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate from the UEFA Academy and the University of Lausanne. The programme is delivered by UEFA Academy in partnership with the University of Lausanne's School of Criminal Justice.
