Scouting and Game Analysis

Designed for coaches, tactical analysts, scouts, current and former professional players, sports journalists, and football agents, the Scouting and Game Analysis Specialist programme delivered by MBP School of Coaches provides an in-depth grounding in professional scouting and match analysis. Participants explore the MBP scouting model, individual and collective player behaviour, all four phases of play, set-piece strategy, and the creation of detailed opponent reports. The course uses a gamification framework that places learners in the role of a junior scout navigating a competitive season.

The programme is delivered online over ten days, totalling 35 hours of study at approximately ten hours per week. Learning is structured around eight modules, with a cross-curricular project requiring participants to analyse two professional matches using video analysis software. Successful completers earn a Scouting Specialist certification issued by MBP School of Coaches, and premium students receive a six-month Virtuox subscription.
