Soccer Scouting - Players Evaluation Model

Aimed at scouts and football professionals looking to sharpen their player recruitment skills, this intermediate-level course focuses on the evaluation of footballers across all positions. It covers desirable player profiles by position, the behaviours and skills to observe when identifying talent, and the criteria used to determine market value. Structured across 10 sections and 30 lessons, the curriculum addresses decision-making, offensive and defensive performance, physical attributes, motricity skills, and volitional behaviour.

The course is delivered entirely online through Soccer Hub and consists of 30 pre-recorded lessons with unlimited access. It is taught by Rui Oliveira, a coach and scout with over 30 years of experience at top European clubs, including more than two decades at Sport Lisboa Benfica and consultancy roles for the Benfica Stars Fund and Sporting Portugal Fund, where he evaluated players for market value purposes. The course is conducted in English and includes assessments.
