Analysis for Player Development

Aimed at analysts looking to work with young footballers or specialise in player development at any level, this intermediate module examines how performance analysts use data and video to support player learning within an academy structure. Topics include Individual Learning Programmes, the workflow of an academy analyst, and practical application through interactive exercises — such as helping a centre-back improve his aerial game. Content is drawn from the experience of performance analysts working in Championship club academies.

Delivered entirely online and designed to be completed in under a day, the module is self-paced and accessible across multiple devices via a browser. It is CPD accredited, carries a certificate of completion, and forms the first part of AnalyiSport's Level 2 qualification in Key Processes in Performance Analysis. The course was developed by AnalyiSport's content team in collaboration with a group of Championship academy analysts.
