Key Processes in Performance Analysis in Football

Building on foundational knowledge of performance analysis, this intermediate-level course explores three core processes carried out by analysts at elite clubs: player development analysis, training analysis, and post-match analysis. It is aimed at those seriously considering a career in performance analysis, students studying related subjects, and football professionals such as coaches or journalists who want a deeper understanding of how analysis functions at the top level. Some prior familiarity with performance analysis is assumed.

The course is delivered entirely online through AnalyiSport's interactive browser-based platform, comprising six hours of training material including text, animations, and interactive exercises. Learners can study at their own pace and access the content across multiple devices. Each of the three modules concludes with an assessment, and completing all three earns three CPD points as part of a Level 2 qualification. Course content was developed in collaboration with performance analysts holding experience in the Premier League, Women's Super League, and Championship.
