Foundation in Recruitment Analysis in Football

Aimed at anyone curious about data-driven player recruitment — whether considering a career in the field or simply wanting to understand how clubs use analytics — this introductory course covers the fundamentals of recruitment analysis in professional football. Topics include the role of the recruitment analyst, key data tools and providers, an applied introduction to Wyscout, and the video scouting process, with interactive exercises drawn from top-flight football placing learners in real analytical scenarios.

Delivered entirely online and self-paced, the course comprises six hours of training material spread across three modules, each ending with an assessment. On passing all three, learners earn three CPD points and a certificate of completion. The content was developed by AnalyiSport in collaboration with recruitment analysts holding experience in the Premier League, the Championship, and La Liga, and forms part of a Level 1 qualification that prepares learners for more advanced study in recruitment analysis.
