BA (Hons) Football coaching & Talent Development

Designed for aspiring coaches and talent development professionals, this three-year undergraduate degree equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to work in youth development departments at football clubs both domestically and internationally. The curriculum spans player-centred coaching methodologies, talent identification and development frameworks, international player development programmes, and reflective coaching practice, covering all phases from foundation to professional development. Applicants are expected to hold The FA Level 2 football coaching qualification prior to entry.

Delivered full-time on campus at UCFB's Wembley and Manchester sites, the course runs over three years with a September start date and requires 112 UCAS points. Teaching is provided by professionals with backgrounds in academia, professional football, elite sport, and business. UCFB is an embedded college of the University of East London, and all graduates receive a degree awarded by that institution.
