BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching Science

Designed for aspiring coaches and sports science practitioners, BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching Science at UCFB blends scientific theory with applied coaching skills to prepare students for careers in high-performance sporting environments. The curriculum spans scientific coaching principles, sport psychology, performance analysis, talent development, strength and conditioning, and skill acquisition, with a strong emphasis on translating evidence-based knowledge into real-world coaching practice across a range of sports and athlete levels.

The degree is delivered full-time on campus at UCFB's Manchester and London locations. The standard route runs over three years, with a four-year option available for those entering via a foundation year. Graduates receive a degree awarded by the University of East London, of which UCFB is an embedded college. The programme is delivered by industry academics and supported by access to professional-standard facilities, alongside employability provision including networking events, seminars, and guest speaker sessions.
