Certificate of Higher Education in Football Coaching and Management

Designed for aspiring football coaches and managers, this one-year Certificate of Higher Education covers the core principles of coaching and management across all levels of the game, from grassroots and community football through to professional and overseas environments. Modules include Introduction to Football Coaching, Introduction to Football Management, Coaching and Skill Acquisition, Football in the Community, and Introduction to Talent Development, giving students both theoretical grounding and practical experience. Work placement opportunities across the football pyramid may also be available.

The programme is delivered full-time on campus at UCFB's Wembley and Manchester locations by UEFA-qualified coaches, some of whom have Premier League academy experience. It runs for one year, starting in September, and leads to a Certificate of Higher Education awarded by the University of East London, of which UCFB is an embedded college. Entry requires 112 UCAS tariff points and a completed Level 1 coaching qualification.
