MSc Football Coaching & Analysis

Designed for coaches, analysts and sport development professionals seeking to advance in football, this MSc explores the statistics, tactics and performance analysis methods shaping the modern game. Core modules cover interdisciplinary football environments, tactical strategy, applied match analysis, coaching practice evaluation and a research project, with optional study in football statistics and data or talent identification and recruitment. Students work with Hudl, the industry-standard performance analysis software used by clubs worldwide.

The programme is delivered on campus in Manchester and is available full time over one year or part time over two years, with both September and January start dates. It is led by course leader Wayne Goodison and awarded by the University of East London, of which UCFB is an embedded college. Entry typically requires an undergraduate degree at 2:2 or above alongside a UEFA C Licence or equivalent Level 2 coaching qualification.
