MSc Performance Analysis in Football

Designed for graduates seeking to build specialist expertise in football analysis, this master's programme covers the core disciplines of applied match analysis, football statistics and data, talent identification and recruitment, and performance analysis communication. Students gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools including Hudl, Nacsport and Tableau, while an interdisciplinary module broadens understanding of how analysts collaborate across departments within professional clubs. The programme targets those aspiring to roles such as performance analyst, recruitment analyst, opposition analyst, or football scout.

Delivered on campus at either UCFB Wembley or UCFB Manchester, the course is available full time over one year or part time over two years, with both September and January start dates. Graduates receive a Master of Science degree awarded by the University of East London, of which UCFB is an embedded college. The programme is led by Course Leader Andrew Raines and is delivered through lectures, seminars, and guest speaker sessions featuring industry professionals.
