Interactive examples drawn from professional analysis work — including comparing transfer targets' dribbling skills and monitoring player speed in training — bring the concepts to life for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of data interpretation in football.

The module is delivered entirely online and takes approximately two hours to complete, with learners progressing at their own pace via a browser-based format featuring text, animations, and interactive exercises. A CPD-accredited certificate of completion is awarded upon passing the assessment, and the module also counts towards AnalyiSport's Level 2 Understanding Data in Football qualification. Content was developed with input from data scientists working in the Bundesliga and Ligue 1, as well as a statistician from the University of London.
