Performance Analysis Tools in Football

Aimed at early-career analysts and students preparing for their first role or placement, this intermediate-level course from AnalyiSport focuses on the practical use of the two key technology categories in professional performance analysis: cameras and wearables. Learners explore the main devices available on the market, how they are used at football clubs, and best practice for managing and purchasing them. The course builds on foundational knowledge and is not intended for those completely new to performance analysis.

Delivered entirely online and self-paced, the course can be completed in a day or less and is accessible via any browser on a laptop or PC. It consists of two modules — Working with Wearables and Working with Cameras — each ending with an assessment. Learners who pass all assessments earn three CPD points and a certificate of completion. Content was developed by AnalyiSport's team in collaboration with performance analysts holding experience in the Premier League, Championship, and Major League Soccer.
