Pathways into Football Analysis

Aimed at anyone considering a career in football analysis, this introductory module from AnalyiSport maps out the two main professional pathways — performance analysis and recruitment analysis. It examines the key job roles within each pathway, the skills and personal qualities required to succeed, and the five main routes through which new analysts can break into the professional game. The content draws on the career experiences of analysts with backgrounds in the Premier League, the Women's Super League, and the Championship.

Delivered entirely online and self-paced, the module can be completed in under a day and is accessible through a standard web browser without additional materials. Learners receive a certificate of completion, and the module also forms part of a broader Level 1 Qualification. It is CPD accredited and was developed by AnalyiSport's content team in collaboration with a group of elite football analysts.
