Safeguarding For Committee Members

Designed for football club committee members, this FA course focuses on safeguarding responsibilities in a grassroots club environment. It helps participants understand both their individual and collective duty to protect children and young people under 18, ensuring that wellbeing remains central to everything the club does. The course is suitable for those at an introductory level who want to build a foundation in safeguarding practice.

Delivered entirely online by The FA through England Football Learning, the course takes approximately one hour and 15 minutes to complete and is free of charge. It is accessible on any device and can be started at any time using an FA Number (FAN) account. Participants who complete the course receive a downloadable digital certificate issued by The FA.
