About This Course

The Scottish FA UEFA B Licence is designed for coaches working at youth and senior level who hold a UEFA C Licence or UEFA Goalkeeping B Licence. The course develops competence across four areas: the coach's own practice, the player and environment, training delivery, and match management. Candidates must be actively working in football at a minimum of youth level, with U15 recommended, and all practical assessments are based on the 11 v 11 game.

Delivered by the Scottish FA, the course follows a blended learning format across three phases: online theoretical modules and virtual classrooms, in-person coaching practice sessions, and a final practical assessment spread over three days. In total, candidates undertake at least ten days of online learning, six days of in-person practice, and ten to twelve days of additional tasks and assignments. Successful completion leads to the UEFA B Licence qualification, recognised across UEFA member associations.
