About This Course
Designed for coaches, scouts, analysts, and young players, this intermediate-level workshop examines the attacking midfielder role from a detailed scouting perspective. Participants explore how the position has evolved alongside modern tactical systems, comparing the creative and all-round attributes that differentiate attacking midfielders across various formations and styles of play. The session carries no prerequisites, and learners are not required to follow a fixed pathway within IPSO's broader Level 2 programme.
Delivered entirely online via Zoom, the workshop runs for approximately one and a half to two hours, followed by a Q&A session. It is accredited by the CPD Group, and participants receive a certificate of completion along with two CPD credits. The International Professional Scouting Organisation hosts the session, with tutors drawn from a pool of experienced scouts and analysts — including former professional footballers and Premier League practitioners — selected on availability.
