TALENT ID LEVEL 1 INTRODUCTION COURSE

Aimed at beginners and those seeking to consolidate their foundational knowledge, this International Professional Scouting Organisation course introduces the core principles of talent identification and football scouting. Topics include the role and characteristics of a scout, the EPPP framework, the Relative Age Effect, and the technical, psychological, physical, and sociological predictors used when assessing young players. It is suited to aspiring scouts, analysts, coaches, agents, and anyone wishing to develop a professional understanding of how players are evaluated from grassroots to academy level.

The course is delivered entirely online and is self-paced, taking approximately one to two hours to complete. It uses an interactive, quiz-based format described as "computer game styled," and is available around the clock. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of completion. The course is CPD accredited through The CPD Group and was designed by elite Premier League football scouts with experience across grassroots, academy, and youth levels. It is delivered by the International Professional Scouting Organisation.
