Youth Scouting

Designed for scouts and analysts at an intermediate level, this workshop from the International Professional Scouting Organisation (IPSO) focuses on evaluating young players across age groups from six-year-olds through to under-23 football. Participants explore age-specific scouting procedures, key talent identification methods, and the role of team formations and player positions in assessing individual potential. No prerequisites are required, making it accessible to those at varying stages of their scouting education.

The workshop is delivered live online via Zoom in an interactive format, running for approximately one and a half to two hours including a Q&A session. Upon completion, participants receive a CPD-accredited certificate awarded through The CPD Group. Tutors are experienced scouts and analysts drawn from Premier League, international, and professional club backgrounds, selected on availability, and include figures with careers spanning both playing and scouting at the highest levels. IPSO delivers the session in English.
