Football Observation

Designed for scouts, analysts, coaches, agents, journalists, players, and parents, the Football Observation course from the International Professional Scouting Organisation focuses on developing high-level observation skills applicable across all levels of the game. Participants explore position-specific and age-specific analysis, early performance indicators, psychological aspects of players, and methods for identifying strengths and weaknesses. The course is described as suitable for everyone from grassroots to professional level, with no prerequisites required.

Delivered live online via Zoom by experienced IPSO scouts and analysts, the course runs for four hours and is scheduled periodically throughout the year. Participants receive a CPD-accredited certificate of completion, endorsed by the CPD Group, along with course materials provided in PDF format. A range of partner platform trials and networking benefits are also included. The course is endorsed by several national football associations and has attracted attendees from clubs and federations worldwide.
