Guide to the Futsal Laws of the Game

Designed for anyone involved in futsal regardless of their specific role, this FA course introduces participants to the key Laws of the Game and how they are applied in practice. Across six modules, learners explore pre-match referee duties, official signals and communication, foul challenges, and disciplinary sanctions. Short knowledge checks at the end of each module help reinforce understanding. The minimum age for enrolment is 14.

Delivered entirely online through England Football Learning, the course runs for approximately one hour and 50 minutes and is free to access. It is compatible with mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. While completing the course does not confer official referee status, it provides a foundational understanding suitable for supporting grassroots futsal games. Full qualification requires an additional face-to-face element through the FA Futsal Referees Course, hosted by County Football Associations.
