Introduction to Coaching Disabled Footballers

Designed for anyone aged 16 and over with an interest in inclusive football, this FA module builds knowledge and practical confidence around coaching disabled footballers. It covers The FA's philosophy for disability football, good coaching practice including the STEP and AIM models, creating safe environments, and applying inclusive coaching strategies. No prerequisites are required, though completing the FA's Disability Football Introduction beforehand is recommended.

The course is delivered entirely online through England Football Learning, the FA's dedicated learning platform, and takes approximately 60 minutes to complete. It is free to access and requires a Football Association Number (FAN) to log in. The structured module format guides learners through six units, concluding with a course summary and feedback opportunity. The course is provided directly by The FA.
